Descripción del Tour:

Embark on an extraordinary adventure to one of the most iconic and otherworldly places in the Atacama Desert. Situated approximately 13 kilometers west of San Pedro de Atacama, you'll discover the mesmerizing landscape of The Valley of the Moon.

We will depart from your hotel around 2:30 p.m. (timing may vary based on the season and weather conditions). Prepare to be captivated by the lunar landscape that gives this area its name. The Valley of the Moon is renowned for its unique rock formations, sand and salt dunes, and its almost complete lack of vegetation.

Our journey will take us along the Cordillera de la Sal, where we'll witness an awe-inspiring geological spectacle. This mountain range, composed of extensive deposits of salt, gypsum, and loamy soils, is a testament to nature's artistry, showcasing natural sculptures, mountains, and salt ridges shaped by millions of years of wind and water erosion. Among these remarkable formations, Las Tres Marías and El Amphitheatre stand out.

The valley forms part of the Los Flamencos National Reserve and is managed by the indigenous communities of Coyo, San Pedro, Quitor, Entourage, Larache, and Yaye.

One of the most breathtaking moments in the Valle de la Luna is the "sunset". As the sun descends, the rock formations and desert sands glow with golden and reddish hues, crafting an ideal setting for photography and reflection.

At the highest point of the Cordillera de la Sal, we'll reach the Mirador de Kari or Piedra del Coyote, where you can savor a delightful cocktail while witnessing one of the most stunning and romantic sunsets globally.

Following this magical experience, we'll return to San Pedro, dropping you off near the municipal parking area. From there, you can explore the town or head back to your hotel independently. If you opt for the private service, we'll ensure a direct drop-off at your hotel.

Remember to wear suitable clothing for the weather and bring a camera to capture these unforgettable moments. Don't miss out on this unforgettable journey.
